IUPAC and the IChO has established an agreement for the period 2023-2032 in order to continue the long-time cooperation between the two entities.

A neutral and objective scientific organization, IUPAC was established in 1919 by academic and industrial chemists who shared a common goal – to unite a fragmented, global chemistry community for the advancement of the chemical sciences via collaboration and the free exchange of scientific information. IUPAC’s core mission is to provide a common language for chemistry, with a focus on providing standards for digitalisation of chemistry.
